The Kardashian-Jenner clan has always been in the spotlight, and everyone I know has either heard of them, or seen their show. I’ve concluded that you either hate them or you love them– I’m more of the latter hehe!
My favorites out of the family are the two Jenners, and that’s probably no surprise to you. Everyone loves the girls, from Kylie’s never-ending change of hair cuts and colors, to Kendall’s never-ending daddy long legs.
Kendall has been featured in a lot of high-fashion designer brand campaigns, or has walked the runway for a couple fashion shows. Kylie, on the other hand, prefers to spend her time studying (which we barely see because she’s home-schooled) or hanging out with her squad. Her group consists of Anastasia Karanikolaou, Jordyn Woods and Telana!
Some of Kendall’s BFFs (and Kylie’s too) are the Hadid sisters, Hailey Baldwin, Cara Delevingne, and rumored boyfie *cue swooning* Justin Bieber. I really do hope they’re dating!
Gigi and Bella Hadid are two of the most beautiful girls I have ever laid my eyes on. Their parents are Mohamed Hadid and Yolanda Foster. So cool. (Also, they have a fifteen-year-old brother named Anwar. I’m crying)
Hailey, whose dad is Stephen Baldwin (brother of Alec Baldwin), on the other hand is considered both Kendall and Kylie’s ultimate best friend. (More on Kendall’s though, kinda sad for Kylie… It’s okay! I’m free the whole week, Ky! HAHAHAHAHA)
Kendall, Gigi, Bella and Hailey have all been together for the Cannes Festival in France, but they stopped by at the Monaco Grand Prix to support Lewis Hamilton! Kylie was there too, but she was with her supposed bf Tyga. *groan*
She joined the gang over at their yacht, though!
Attached are the iconic selfies and group pics that were taken at the Grand Prix and more. Enjoy.
I just love their group so much. (I also have quite a big girl crush on Bella… URRRGHHHH)
After hanging out (or working, to put it in a more professional term) with my sister Saab yesterday, her blog put ideas into my head as we brainstormed together. Her updating technique is to schedule her posts and to make calendars for each month, which made me wonder why I didn’t think of that in the first place. (I’m not as creative as she is, so don’t blame me lol!)
I’ve finally decided to at least try and update everyday, but I have a few free days to post anything I want to, just so I don’t pressure myself too much. She’s been my inspiration for this whole blogging thing over the years, and I’m really glad she asked me to intern for her! (I really don’t wanna go back to school yet huhu)
Every Monday, I’ll dedicate a post to a song I really like– doesn’t matter if it’s new or old. Tuesday’s a free day; Wednesday is for all the goss– anything I find that people are talking about on Twitter, Facebook, whatever. Thursday and Friday are both free days, and Saturday is the day I get all nervous about just because I’ve never done it before.
I thought of this idea just a few minutes ago, and it’s to style an outfit based on a specific song (maybe even the song I posted about on Monday) and just do it Fashion Blogger-style. Sunday is when I reminisce over the past week. It’s when I talk about something I’ve learned over the past few day or something I’m proud of– just anything I’ve learned, basically.
That’s all I wanted to share with you, and I just hope you like what I’ve chosen so far! <3
(Please leave comments! I love talking to you hehe)
We all know that Justin Bieber has made a couple of mistakes in the past and probably regrets them, but let’s be real– If he didn’t make any of them, he would have never learned so it was good for him anyway!
Just a couple of months ago, Justin held this year’s Comedy Central Roast, entitled #BieberRoast, and got it trending everywhere in just no time. Every year, a particular well-known celebrity holds the Roast along with someone they choose to host. The last one was held by the handsome James Franco, as his best friend Seth Rogen hosted and ‘roasted’ him along with James’ handpicked ‘Roast masters’.
Justin’s Roast masters included Kevin Hart (who also hosted), Snoop Dogg, Martha Stewart (yes, you read correctly), Ludacris, Hannibal Burress, Jeff Ross, Natasha Leggero, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris D’Elia, Pete Davidson (LOOOOVE), and Will Ferrel as Ron Burgundy from Anchor Man. (So cool.)
At the end of the event, Justin had his time to roast them all back, and even publicly acknowledged and addressed his mistakes and apologized. Just goes to show that Justin really does have the potential to change for the better.
After the Roast, he hadn’t been caught doing anything scandalous anymore, which is a big deal for him. He’s been such a rebel over the past couple of years, and I’m really glad he’s stopped. He has now obviously surrounded himself with people that inspire him to keep moving forward.
Just two days ago, James Corden of The Late Late Show (I love him) released a video him and Justin in a car just having fun and was titled Justin Bieber Carpool Karaoke. It was so refreshing to see the Biebs so happy and acting normal. The video created a lot of buzz and received a lot of positive feedback from people saying that their Justin Bieber phase was resurrecting, which I can say so myself too hahaha!
I’m also really glad that he’s writing again and ready to hit the stage soon. I’m just loving the new Justin and I know you do too. Love you JB! <3
I made this video with my best friend Yanni last year, and I only got around to editing and posting it a few months ago. In the video we did the whisper challenge, which is a game you play with another person. The objective of the game is to guess what the other person’s saying while you’ve got headphones on. It may seem easy peasy, but it took us a while to guess the sentences we were saying to each other haha!
Enjoy watching and make sure to try it out with a friend, too!
(Btw– I’m a little hyper throughout the video and my voice tends to get high-pitched when I am, so I’m sorry if that annoys you lol!)
I’ve discovered a few new (they kinda are to me lol) artists and have been listening to some really catchy songs in the past couple of months, and I decided to share it with you. As a lot of people know, I don’t really listen to just one specific genre of music; I listen to mostly RnB, Pop and Rap, but I do like jamming to a few alternative bands and rock songs once in a while.
I grew up listening to That’s Not My Name and Shut Up And Let Me Go because my mom would always play them and dance with me haha! I stumbled upon them two days ago when I searched for ‘Shut Up And Dance With Me’ on Spotify, and I might just listen to them again now.
Shut Up And Dance With Me has been an anthem for my friend Jeanne and I, and I might have listened to it for more than 50 times. No biggie. I haven’t listened to a lot of their songs yet, but if you have the time you should check them out!
After hearing the Coke ad, I immediately asked my mom if she knew the song. Apparently, it’s originally by Nena and it’s actually a German song called ‘99 Luftballons‘, but I like both versions a lot! Coke did a great job at choosing a song hehe
What music post would be complete without me mentioning my favorite girls in the entire world? If you like RnB and Pop mashed into one, you’re definitely gonna like this album! It includes their hits ‘BO$$‘, ‘Sledgehammer‘ and ‘Worth It‘. What I like most about it is that it promotes feminism and confidence, and I think those are two important things that us women need.
Of course everyone knows about this album! It’s amazing and you can really tell how hurt, how in love, and how happy she was in it all. It may seem as if it’s all about one specific person, which I’m all for (YES HAYLOR! don’t fight me okay haha), but whatever. Just leave her be and let her enjoy being herself. I LOVE HER SO MUCH AHHH
A lot of people are irked by this song, but I really (x6) like it! If you haven’t seen the video, you should really check it out; it features both Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber, and it’s just really all fun. I also love how Carly Rae‘s making a comeback! (She also looks exactly the same since then, which is super cool!)
I’m pretty sure everyone has heard this song, either on the radio or on the internet. It had been my favorite song for two months straight, and I’m pretty sure I’ve listened to it for over 100 times. It’s kind of a mix of Country and Pop, which I would never listen to in a million years, but it’s nice and catchy. I also love Kanye’s verse in this!
This song’s very explicit and has an even more explicit message, so I suggest you not listen to it if you are not over the age of 13 hahaha! I just think it’s very catchy and fun to dance to. And come on– it’s Rihanna. Anything by Rihanna is a masterpiece!
Natalie La Rose performed at the Radio Disney Music Awards right before Fifth Harmony, and she sings and dances really good! Her song’s really catchy too. It’s kind of an adaptation of Whitney Houston‘s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody‘.
Probably my favorite Ariana song ever. I sang/rapped this, along with Birdy‘s Tee Shirt, at my school’s Red Night, and I received some positive feedback haha! My favorite part’s actually Big Sean‘s verse, and I used to rap it all the time. I’m glad I performed it!
Drake did such a great move of surprising everyone with dropping this sick mixtape! One of the most influential moves this generation– right after BEYONCÉ of course. Some of the popular songs in it are ‘Legend‘, ‘10 Bands‘, ‘Know Yourself‘, ‘6 God‘, ‘Madonna‘, ‘Preach‘, ‘You & The 6‘ and ‘Jungle‘. Yes, almost all of the songs are well-known now. It’s Drake; what did you expect?
A lot of songs in this are good and catchy, and the beats are nice too. If you like upbeat rap, you’ll most probably like this album. (Also, may I just say I love Chris Brown’s voice?)
I love jamming out to this song so much. Big Sean and Drake, aka two of my favorites, together in one song? Amazing. Thank you God for this amazing masterpiece. I love it SO MUCH. So much. So. Much. (Although I’ve yet to memorize it and listen to all of Dark Sky Paradisehehe)
I’m probably pretty late on this, but I just started listening to these amazing girls yesterday, and I may just have to listen to their album Days Are Gone a hundred times. Why have I never heard of their songs before? Why? Why am I so late? (Sorry Marty!) ((I’d also like to say that they dance incredibly well. Amazing. *insert clapping emoji three times*))
Hope you had fun looking into my brain hehe, till next time!
(Considering it’s been a month, since then, I thought maybe it was the perfect time to finally post this hahaha! Sorry :/)
March 21st and 22nd were days everyone had been raving about since the Summer of 2014. Everything was such a blur, but at the same time I’m never gonna be able to forget about it. I am so grateful for having been able to see four of my favorite people in the entire world. Thank you so much to my mom for letting this happen hehe love you <3
Note: (I LOVE YOU ZAYN I’M GONNA MISS YOU SO MUCH HAVE FUN WITH LIFE AND BE HAPPY!!!!)
Enjoy this photoset from both days of On The Road Again Tour: Manila. I’ve decided to put watermarks on mot of the pictures, but a lot of them are the original pictures. Just please don’t steal them and claim that they’re yours hehe all the love! 🙂
Warning: The following may result in PCD (post-concert depression), reminiscing, and possible tears. Please do prepare yourselves.
Two months ago, I went to the L’Oreal Hair Academy Office to get my hair cut hoping I could color my hair for the first time, which is exactly what I ended up doing.
I was hoping to get a few natural-looking light brown highlights, because I felt like it would look really nice. I mean I already have brown hair, but I wanted to make it stand out. At the most, I have dark brown hair with a few gold strands here and there.
I got my hair cut around 3-4 inches shorter, basically how I always get it cut, but this time I chose to get side bangs. I have to admit; Bangs can get really annoying, so unless you barely get occupied with homework or own tons of headbands, think twice before you get them. They’re a pain in the butt.
My hairstylist, Darryl, put a base in my hair after the dye that made the dye stay longer and fade less. It also made my hair shiny, so that’s a plus.
The color at my roots has faded a bit, but you can’t really tell from afar. I’m really happy with how everything turned out, and hopefully in the future I’ll get my hair cut and colored by Matrix again!
Here are a few pictures in which you can see the color clearly:
The color Darryl used on my hair was Wonder Red 8RR for the highlights, and for the base he used Color Sync HD RR.
Thank you to Darryl and to L’Oreal Matrix Philippines!
I apologize for lying about this post being uploaded sooner, but I really did not have any time to write. But now that it’s the Summer time, I have way more time to write!
On the 23rd of January, my family and I headed up North to the beautiful city of Baguio for my sister Saab and Jim’s wedding to be held the day after.
Being the excited person I am, I couldn’t wait to get to Baguio. Baguio’s actually one of my favorite places to visit. It’s so relaxing and peaceful…
I’ll live in Baguio someday, I swear.
The day after, we were all buzzing with excitement and joy. We all headed to the lobby for a bit of breakfast and later got ready for the ceremony.
Sadly, I don’t have any pictures from the ceremony itsefl, but here are a couple pictures from the reception;
If I can say anything about love, just from observations, it’s all about timing. Saab and Jim have been friends since college but apparently, Jim used to dislike my sister a lot. I can’t blame him haha! Jk lang, don’t fight meate!
Just wait for the right time, because everything happens for a reason. 🙂
