I recently got some new makeup and I like the way they look on me so I made up my own daily makeup routine. I am no makeup expert but I do know my little tips and tricks, thanks to Michelle Phan, but I am not a professional. Just saying. Enjoy!
These are all my makeup goodies along with my little makeup bag.
So the first thing that I do is put on this Be Beautiful Blemish Balm from Sleek. It conceals, repairs, and protects skin!
The next thing I do is put concealer on. Now, I have two concealers to choose from. The first one is MAC’s Select Cover-Up and second is Chanel’s Le Blanc Whitening Concealer. If I’m having a “good face day”, I use the Chanel concealer but if I have blemishes that are really hard to conceal, then I use the MAC concealer as this is full-coverage.
Then, I go on to bronzer. The bronzer that I use is from The Body Shop and it is the Bronzing Powder in the shade Deep Matte. I use it to contour and to define the hollows of my cheeks and the sides of my nose.
After that I go in with the Benefit Watt’s Up highlighter and highlight my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and the cupid’s bow.
Then, I put The Body Shop’s Lip & Cheek Stain on my lips and blend it out.
I then put on a bit of The Body Shop’s Coconut Lip Butter to moisturize my lips.
Now, if I’m feeling like I need a bit of color, I put a little bit of MAC’s Tease Your Tastes creme blush on my cheeks to have rosy cheeks.
I never really bother to wear mascara but if I want my lashes to have some curl to them, I use Maybelline’s The Magnum Volum’ Express Super Film mascara.
That’s it with my daily makeup routine! If you think it was a little too much, you can remove some steps and make it look more natural. I hope you enjoyed reading this little tutorial of mine!
P.S. Yes, I know these pictures are horrible but I only used my phone to take them haha sorry
