L’Oreal Matrix Philippines

Two months ago, I went to the L’Oreal Hair Academy Office to get my hair cut hoping I could color my hair for the first time, which is exactly what I ended up doing.

I was hoping to get a few natural-looking light brown highlights, because I felt like it would look really nice. I mean I already have brown hair, but I wanted to make it stand out. At the most, I have dark brown hair with a few gold strands here and there.

Here’s a close-up picture of my hair, which was left in a braid the entire day, before I got it colored

I got my hair cut around 3-4 inches shorter, basically how I always get it cut, but this time I chose to get side bangs. I have to admit; Bangs can get really annoying, so unless you barely get occupied with homework or own tons of headbands, think twice before you get them. They’re a pain in the butt.

This is what my hair looked like after the cut, but that’s not what it looks like anymore haha

Here’s me getting my streaks done hehe
And here’s me looking like a robot/alien

My hairstylist, Darryl, put a base in my hair after the dye that made the dye stay longer and fade less. It also made my hair shiny, so that’s a plus.

The color at my roots has faded a bit, but you can’t really tell from afar. I’m really happy with how everything turned out, and hopefully in the future I’ll get my hair cut and colored by Matrix again!

Here are a few pictures in which you can see the color clearly:

TAKE NOTE THAT I TOOK THIS SELFIE AS A JOKE. I DO NOT TAKE SERIOUS SELFIES LIKE THIS HAHAHAHAHA

The color Darryl used on my hair was Wonder Red 8RR for the highlights, and for the base he used Color Sync HD RR.

Thank you to Darryl and to L’Oreal Matrix Philippines!
