My mom has had experience with kids when she was younger. She had a baby brother when she was twelve, and naturally, her mother-like personality started to grow, and she’s known how to take care of children since then. I really appreciate how responsible, loving, and caring my mom is and I love her for that.
A funny memory with mom is that she used to always tell me, “When I first saw you, I kept thinking of how beautiful you were, but then I saw your ears and I went ‘oh no!!!!!!'”, and I would always laugh at the memory because I could really imagine her saying that (but just so you know, she was just kidding hahahaha)!
One of our favorite things to do together was shopping, and we shopped together all the time and told each other our opinions on certain things! If I didn’t think what mom chose was nice, she would put it back and vice versa. Shopping was something that made my mom comfortable and take her mind off things- like a stress reliever, and I was thankful for that, because she deserved to rest and to relax.
So, mom, if you’re reading this, happy mother’s day! I hope you have enough time for relaxation and comfort. I love you!!!
